Learning Chinese 

In series: Graded Readers for Chinese Language Learners


Suitable for adult learners, the Graded Readers for Chinese Language Learners series consists of three difficulty levels. With a theme on folklore, Level 1 is made up of 10 books from 10 stories, each with a vocabulary level of 500 words. Level 2 is made up of 20 books with a vocabulary level of 800 words, based on 4 masterpieces of ancient Chinese literature –Water Margin (The Outlaws of the Marsh), Three Kingdoms, Dream of the Red Chamber, Journey to the West. Not yet published, Level 3 is comprised of 20 books with a vocabulary level of 1200 words based on ancient Chinese history. This series give learners a deeper understanding about ancient Chinese history, culture, and literature while learning Chinese at the same time.


Book: Picture Dictionary of Chinese Measure Words

9787100091749aPicture Dictionary of Chinese Measure Words is the best tool for learners of Chinese, most of whom find learning Chinese quantity words very difficult. This dictionary covers 210 frequently used quantity words, including nominal ones, verbal ones, and concurrent ones. Each quantity word is illustrated by examples with pictures to show the iconographic meaning that comes with the quantity word. Most of the quantity words in this dictionary are the must-learn vocabulary for HSK and YCT exams. At the end of this dictionary, four useful appendices are included: units of time, units of currency, units of weights and measures, and verbal quantity words. This is a tremendously useful reference that can help Chinese language learners get the hang of using quantity words quickly.
