Sharing Teaching Experiences and Resources For Chinese Language
Mastering Chinese the Fun Way

Cypress Books, together with Sinolingua London and Xihaha Children Books, organised a Chinese language event,
themed "Sharing Teaching Experiences and Resources" on 19th June 2010 in London.
The event turns out to be a massive success with over 130 teachers, with very positive feedback from participants.

To continue the success, Cypress Books, Sinolingua London and Xihaha Children Books will organise
the 2nd of the series on 25th June 2011 and we warmly invite all those are interested to participate.
The theme will remain unchaged to be "Sharing Teaching Experiences and Resources for Chinese Language".
You will hbe able to attend the following workshops led by experienced teachers, examinors and authros:
- Ways to implement fun games in class
Speaker: Manqiu Lin (), Children Literature Author/ Qing Hua Chinese School Teacher
- Fun and effective learning from young age -- building a strong language foundation
Speaker: Maisim Merry (), Head teacher of Buckinghamshire Chinese School
- Language Progression from Breakthrough through Preliminary to Intermediate
Speaker: Hua Yan (?), Head of Mandarin, Oundle School
- Bridge the Gap between GCSE and AS
Speaker: Xiaoming Zhang (), Head of Mandarin, Wycombe Abbey School
- Practical Skills to prepare GCSE Speaking and Writing
Speaker: Xiuhua Pan (?), Mandarin Teacher, Oxford High School
- Teach with Chinese GCSE
Speaker: Speaker: Annabel Parker (??), Head of Mandarin New Line Learning Academy & Ranran Du (??), Editor of Sinolingua
This event will be a great opportunity to:
- Liaise with your fellow teachers for professional and personal networking
- Discussion after each workshop to share your teaching concerns and experiences
- Explore primary and secondary school teaching resources
- Browse and purchase from an extensive range of teaching materials, supplement books and multimedia Mandarin products
with a generous discount for all orders placed on the day.
The charge for participation to the great event is only GBP15 per person to cover administration cost.
