    About the author

Xiao Ran, Zi Zhenyi, named Mengxing. Since childhood, he likes Chinese painting and seal cutting. Under the tutelage of Professor Hong Shiqing, China Academy of Art. In 1999, he was admitted to the Chinese Painting Department of China Academy of Art. In 2006, he was awarded the 'Chinese Literati Artist Contribution Award'; in 2007, he was awarded the 'Chinese Calligraphy and Calligraphy Career Achievement Contribution Award'; in 2007, he was awarded the honorary title of 'Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Award'. In 2010, he was awarded the title of 'National Model Teacher of Art Education'.
